HandHeld Products introduced a new Scanning Technology in
1999 called Linear Imaging. This scanner has the performance
of the Laser Scanner AND the ruggedness of a CCD scanner.

Code verifier, will try to read the code, so that even if
it is faulty, it can show you where the fault lies. It can
then give you a report (depending on the model), which will
summarise the bar code quality, with a Quality Grade.
Don't forget, a "normal" bar code scanner will
ONLY prove that it is capable of reading that bar code, other
scanners may not be able to. It also gives you no indication
of the quality of the bar codes you are printing.
